Helpful Hints:
Make sure to always run a test cut. Even though you may have the same brand of machine as our laser machine, every machine cuts differently and settings could vary. We take pride in testing our materials, this gives you a starting point.
Paper Masking - leave it on. This will protect your acrylic during the cut and simply remove it after wood. Please keep an eye on your machine when cutting with paper masking, this is one of the top contributions to laser fires. Never leave your machine unattended when cutting with a laser.
Plastic Masking - Remove before cutting, this will melt your acrylic. (Our Listings will say if they are paper or plastic masked)
Are you getting a haze or fog after cutting? This is not uncommon even if you are masking before your cut. You can use rubbing alcohol to get rid of the haze. Please note: Do not use rubbing alcohol on printed design.
