DecoCraft - The Sawdust Makery- Project Board - Christmas Word Stackers

What is a project board?

It is as simple as it sounds, it is an 11.75” x 19” that has several DecoCraft designs that will give you the decorative prints for up to 9 projects by Kris Howard of The Sawdust Makery’s bundled together using her laser files.

Please Note: Additional Material may be needed to complete this project depending on the option you select. 

Word Stacker Background Project Board

If you select the Word Stacker background only, you will receive 1 sheet project board with the patterns you find as the background of the Word Stackers. The project board will give you the backgrounds for all three words in the word stacker, giving you a total of 9 sets Word Stackers.

If you purchase this option, you will need 3 additional sheets of 1/8" Raw MDF. This is for the backer, letters, or anything the project requires to support the blocks or paint to complete the 9 projects.

Complete Project Kit

With the complete project kit, you get all the wood materials to make your project. You will receive 2 printed project boards to cut out the backgrounds, e3mbellishments, and letters. In addition, you will receive two 1/8" Raw MDF boards 11.75" x 19" to cut out the Word Stacker Base. All you would need is paint, to add those extra details and adhesive to hold your project together. You will get 9 complete projects out of the Project Kit.

Project Board Grid Layout:

You will receive an email to download your project board grid for easy layout of your Project Board.  The DecoCraft Project Layout Grid does not include the actual file from The Sawdust Makery. The Grid has boxes to place the portion of the file on the coordinating pattern on the DecoCraft Board for easy placement.  If you already purchased the file from The Sawdust Makery, it does not include the Project Board Layout Grid. The Project Board Layout Grid must be purchased separately. Purchase of the Project Board Layout Grid is not required; you can set up your own layout with the Christmas Word Stacker file from the Sawdust Makery. The Background Project Layout Grid is universal with all of the Sawdust Makery's word stacker files. There is an additional Project Board Grid for the accents that vary from file to file.

The printing includes a curing process that creates a finished look that saves time on painting while delivering the same quality expected from H&H Creations.

Helpful Hints:

Make sure to always run a test cut on 1/8" Raw MDF. Even though you may have the same brand of machine as our laser machine, every machine cuts differently and settings could vary. We take pride in testing our materials, this gives you a starting point.

The Fine Print

Please note: The ability to get multiple projects out of a project board depends on the layout of your design when going into the laser. The Sawdust Makery or H & H Creations are not responsible if you are unable to get the recommended project amount out of the board due to the layout. We recommend laying out the recommended project amount at the same time before cutting the board. 

This board was laid out using The Sawdust Makery's standard sizing in the original file. The print design size is slightly larger to accommodate movement.
